I believe there was a open race in the MIdlands yesterday understand Barry Fellows did very well perhaps someone up that way can give some more information.

Just looking back at the advert in the BHW and I quote,It was a unanimous decision of the Welsh RPRA Region that no licences are to be granted to the Europa Classic One Loft Race(applied for by the New Century F.C.)If Mr.Nicholls is saying they never applied for a licence what as the New Century F.C.got to do with the race.

Albear,there is a Bricon demonstration at the Paulton Rovers F.C. near Bristol next sat.night at 7.30,I.m thinking of having a look myself on my way down to devon.

My opinion is that once the ets is up and running the majority of the manual clocks that will be used will be the t3,as i believe that you can transfer the information of the clock straight into the computer,and with allready having to use a computer for the ets it will save a lot of time.Dont use a t3 myself mind i have a Stb,Benzing wind up and a benzing quartz.

Caught a bit of the MNFC sale at the Bescot Stadium last Saturday would you believe one youngster fetched £750.

Bit pricey that casbri i,ve got one myself i thought about selling but i don,t think i,ll get much above £50 for it.

Had they been trained and raced as youngsters Rick.

Same with us in the club racing Rose but it will be the national clubs that will cause the problems,trying to send to those races aswell.

Think it would be very foolish to try and send a bird back the following week but as for everything else i think everyone knows the answear there.

These are just the same restrictions that we had last year, our club decided to race north so we had no problems, but some members sent abroad when the restrictions were lifted,not to sure how they coped though.

So if i was unfortunate not to be at the loft when the birds came home(which could be likely in my job)and was using a ets could i prevent it from clocking 20 or even more birds.

If another fancier in your club clocks 20 before you have clocked 1 i,m sorry but it,s nothing to do with the clocking system he uses,that to me is a very poor excuse.

Just wondering brerjr17 if the restrictions hadn,t been lifted where would you have raced from.

Not very often you see good birds for sale in a pet shop unless the guy who owns it races pigeons he might put a few in he no longer wants or may sell some youngsters in there.If it,s racers you are after there is also a few for sale on the forum.

Hopefully will be going this year,supposed to be loads better than last year.

My main loft is covered with this stuff but i used a very good quality which cost me a fortune,but i have allways been a lover of this type of roofing i.e.the ventilation aspect through the corrugations is what i like,i searched the phone book to find a supplier for mine not sure if you have The Yellow Pages phone book up your way but i found my supplier in there.

I think the motivation part of this answear is what i would of said,the more you can get the bird motivated i think the keener it it will be to get home hopefully at an increased speed.
