a senario for you to concider ,your house is being broken into by some one with a gun ,and you phone the police at 3oclock has it is happening ,the police say that they are under staffed and cant get to you strait away ,then at 10 past 3 they get a call from the lord of the mannor ,his house is being broken into as well and the person has a gun ,then a police man in the station becomes available ,you and the lord live exactily the same time and distance from the station ,who do you think he will turn up to first ,{fair good honist police men }are like peregrins that dont eat meat

strapper i was in HMP with them lads when the case first started ,and they always protested their innocence ,they would never take any notice of the screws or any other officials ,because they knew they should never have been in there ,they would not even go down for food ,it was always brought up to them ,they caused so mutch disterbance in cardiff nick that they moved them else where ,and they keept up there protest ,just imagen if they had broke their spirit ,they would be in for life .THE POLICE IS AS BENT AS A FIDDLERS ELBO they are like pigeons you get a resonable one now and again .

the hawks will decline one day in very big numbers ,but only when pigeon racing has come to a end ,and there is no more food around ,so they will have to eat each other and it will be in the next ten or twenty years ,i cant see them being any good to help train pigeons because the pigeons do fly hard ,but mostley keep going never to be seen again because of fear .ATB les.

you so dont know people ,you cant even imagine what they do or are like when it comes down to it ,YOU CANT FIND THAT OUT JUST BECAUSE OF WORDS WRITEN ON A SCREEN ,so i dont know what the sale ment to the man ,i will tell you what it ment to him ,he will never get over it that is what it ment to him it broke his heart like it would mine if it was me ,if he had not become ill he probibly would still have them but there comes a time in life when we have to let all we love and cherish go .that is life ,i know a lot about this man although i have never had the pleasure of meeting him but i feel as if i know him personally because of a good friend of his and mine has talked a lot about how good the man was, to me on the phone night after night ,i am in the proses of geting a family of birds together containing some of the best of his blood lines ,and no i did not have to go to the sale to get them thy came via john puddephatt his good friend and mine ,the comment i made was just to make a point that he got the sort of money his birds deserved not pennies like some sales ,and i fully agree with you about studs ,so look before you leap in future ATB les .

They have not even started to cause problems yet ,just mark my words ,racing pigeons has taken a turn for the worse as far as the hawks are concernd ,every body has once again sat back during the winter and done sod all to rectify the problem ,so now be prepaird to have one of the worst seasons on record ,mainly down to hawks and falcons ,ATB les.

a total of £26grand i was told ,so it seems it went well

better than my firs loft ,as a kid i kept 2 pigeons in my mothers wardrobe ,untill she found out .

IB reguarding the larson trap ,the man must have had a crap defence lawer ,all he would have to have said if im in posesion of an illegal trap then i want every company in scotland that sells or makes them prosecuted as well ,if not then you are being predigest against me and i will take it further .he would have had the case dismised .that is if was a larson trap .

no offence but things are worse in some areas and in time it will be the same every where no amount of deterents are going to stop attacks so in realaty only one sure way to deal with a growing problem like this and every one should take a chance other wise we can all forget pigeon racing in a few years ,unless you breed big numbers to feed the hawks so a few will survive to race ,only problem with this is the hawks will increase as well so when do it all stop ,the sooner the better i think .take a chance the law dont give a sh** about us so why should we give a sh** about the law ,after all laws were made by fools for fools to follow .

i had one of those ,but it was out of season so i kept it quiet.

paul im just waiting for them to put money down for solid proof ,it is one of the only things in this country that is running wild that i have not captured ,the other is old nessie .

your not on your own ,i have solved my problems ,but just recently a lot of folk are starting to have trouble and it is going to be the worst season for hawks that we have had in years because there is 2or 3 times more than last year ,there is only one answer and it is dont bother to frighten it away frighten it that much you scare it to death just like it is doing to your birds ,it sounds like a sparrow hawk and it will hit the birds in the sky to make them go to the ground then eat them alive. .

northern birds ,they will travel any distance for a free night out ,even in high heels and short skirts. ;D

owen the goss will usualy fly of with its catch ,they used to in my area ,but a funny thing they seemd to have disappeared now ,funny how a little tiny piece of net can deter them .

funny that i have found a lot of dead fallow deer near the road side this year whilst out walking my lurcher ,makes you wonder what is happening since the ban ,
