john it stands to reason how can the bird sudenly get 60mph faster than it has ever done before ,by doing nothing different and if it had then we would be looking at that video insted of this one ,so some one is not telling the truth .

so they say ,can you see it geting over 60 miles a hour faster [i dont think so unless it had a down wind of 60 miles mph up its rear end ,] and funny how it all happend of camera ,they would have recorded it just in case [they should get back in the real world ,fecking lieing twats.]

it looks like a common FOOT HAWK ,they dont actualy kill pigeons ,they just kick them about a bit . ;D ;D

i watched a program ,that said to trap and kill humainly ,they will also try out a injection survey ,i think it said in wales .

give it a year or two with the way the hawks are esculating ,you will have no choice .or lose half you race team training.

i have a hen that is out of a full sister to snydale prince.

and as of yesterday they have now decided [after over 30 years ]to trap and kill thousands of badgers ,because of TB it is costing 25million a year of tax payers money to reimburse the farmers because of TB out breaks ,to little to late once again ,like i say we cant aford to wait 30years to have our problem solved .

i train my young birds single up from their first toss but dont race them . .but some times i let them up training with wilff reeds birds to come so far back in a bunch to learn them to break .

i dont want to give precise location because of hawk lovers but the old 7 bridge is the breaking point for any of my birds ,then they got the forest of dean area to contend with .

just like to add that my birds have to fly the last 12miles on their own over hawk infested woodland ,in 7 years the most birds i have had come together in a race is 2 and that only happend one time .[it takes a good pigeon to fly to my loft just to get home in one piece ]now you can see why i detest the hawks .ATB les.

where i live ,i have a average of 12miles over fly on most of the members that are in the clubs i fly in ,but in a new club just started im the shortest by 12 miles ,if i see a bird on race day 9 out of 10 it is for me i live in the country. i will only be using the small clubs as training for the nationals as i only send between 1 and 4 birds to each race ., ,i fly to a 22 ft x6ft loft with a 4ft wide aviary all along the front .average members in each club is 12 ,but in one club i fly against 36 of the top flyers in wales .

dont be so sure ,things happen you dont get to here about.with all one loft races.

i have mentiond this before ,im crossing WILLF REEDS with JOHN PHUDDIPHATT ,to top knotch 500mile plus flyers still at the top of their game ,i got birds of their best ,and this year will see the start of the yearlings ,so fingers x .

dean pallet birds ended up like the vandabeeles of M and D EVANS ,every tom dick and harry had them ,that is what happens when a new craze comes out ,to me they are very good birds but like every thing else you got to be lucky and end up with the right ones ,i had them and x them with the cauldwell birds and wone with them ,but now im into the distance racing so i have changed birds ,[one lucky person on this site is having my last pallet hen and cauldwell cock for breeding] i wont mention your name SPORTKA.any way i bet none of you new this ,dean pallet would not have been the person to have introduce the SVR into this country he only was because of a wrong desicion ,a friend of mine by the name of MR P,J,WELLS and a good friend of his were having the first ever birds from SVR they were the same lot of birds that dean pallet ended up with ,the only reason that MR WELLS and his friend did not get them was because his friend decided to change his mind at the last miniute ,[what a bad desision ]ATB les .

I was ment to answer some questions ,for member NW USA but i have been out ,i have sent a pm saying i would put this thread on so he[i presume nw usa is a he ,] can get answers to his questions ,he would like to find out how racing pigeons in our country compairs to his ,[so when you log back in NW USA] fire away im sure you will get to find out all you need to know from everone .ATB les.

IB the problem with grey squirels in scotland has helpd the decrease of the red squirel ,as we all know ,it has been happening for over 30 years ,and it has taken untill to day for them to take proper action to start to solve the problem .that is on some thing that is not protected by a stupid law and are classed as vermin .HOW LONG DO YOU THINK IT WILL TAKE TO REALY SORT OUR PROBLEM WITH HAWKS OUT .a bloody lot longer ,i say sod them do it our way and face the concequences.
