How long you the birds exercising each time they are out?

How many clubs are in the fed and where are they all situated? Does anyone know this information? Any website/results available on the internet?

Does the Welsh North Road Fed result get published anywhere on the internet? This day and age you would expect to be available somewhere!

Hi Guys, my first 10 young birds been weaned off now for 3 weeks and they took off yesterday morning and flew for 35 minutes before landing. Fed them some trapping seed when they come in, and then let them back out around lunch time and this time they flew for 55 minutes. Well pleased with how they are progressing. How are everyone elses doing?

Just finished fitting the new young bird section out with nest boxes. I am gonna leave the partition in the box and just remove the front so the youngsters can have half a section of the nest box each. I thought it would be easier to line it out now with nest boxes as this is my old bird section for next year. The pic 3 youngsters were my first ones which I weaned off today.

Quality...Gonna record it and play it next time there having relaxation time! hehehe

I have decided to try a new technique on a Thursday from now on. Its called Power Shower Therapy! The birds have a power shower and listen to music (today was The Bee Gees - You win again) It is aimed at relaxing the birds and giving them free time away from the stresses of the loft. We are looking at bringing in massages, aromatherapy, and facials. Early signs are the hens are looking forward to this! hehehe!

Has anyone tried or used this? It looks very interesting, but what if the bird that the film is attached to is lost? The system costs £125 so is expensive if you attach it to the wrong bird! How does that work if the cam is lost? Anyone know?

Sick...all I hope it is mindless thugs rather than pigeon men themselves! But you cant keep good men down and I am sure he will come back bigger and better. Good Luck to him and I hope they catch the sickos that have done this terrible thing. Must be devastating.

I hate my loft not looking clean. I just dont enjoy going up the loft if I havent cleaned out. The birds always appear better after the loft has been cleaned. But I have been to one persons in particualr, who only cleans out maybe twice a year, but he showed me his trophy cabinet and it was jam packed with trophies his team had won. Each to their own I guess, but for me the cleaner the better.

This is the reply I have just received. Fair play, very quick and helpful. Occasionally, a very few users get a corrupted BLOB file. A BLOB file is a Binary Large Object – a file that holds the free-form notes you write for your birds. Why this corruption occurs is unknown to us. It could be because you have shut your computer down inadvertently without first closing the program, or a brown-out in the electricity supply. Whatever causes it, your data becomes corrupted and this can result in symptoms you describe. We have almost 2000 customers using LMS and, up to now, have had fewer than 6 complain of such corruption. We built a repair system into LMS to try to repair such problems. You can access it via Maintenance, Repair Records. The default radio button (The Bird Details) is the one you need. If this does not fix the problem, get back to me and I will give you instructions to get your data to me via email and I will try to repair your records

Hi mate, had the same problem with a Michael Van Lint pigeon that was supposed to be a hen. They never returned my email so in the end I phoned and spoke with Keith. In all fairness they exchanged the bird and had two Boss Busschaert hens in replacement.

Hiya, yeah have checked for the updates and everything is already on the system I am using. Its annoying!

Apart from that though, a very good program.

I have just emailed the maker of the program asking for his help to correct the problem, so will be interesting to see what he has to say.

Its hard to spot unless you actually look for it! But on going to type something in the long notes on the profile, noticed the notes belonged to a different pigeon! Its frustrating because the actual birds own notes are then deleted!

Does anyone else use the Eastcoast software program for their loft records? I am experiencing a problem with the notes of certain pigeons somehow getting mixed up with other pigeon notes! There must be a fault in the program somewhere but would like to know if anyone else has had this problem and if so has it been corrected somehow? Twice this has happened to me now, the first time I put it down to myself making an error, but not this time.
