So what's the answer? Won't need to worry about having birds fit in about 5 years as there won't be any racing happening! We are on the brink of collapse and I can't see a long future left at the rate it's going the now! More and more clearance sales every time I pick up BHW so what's the answer? Just accept it

That's what we want tho, if they only have small birds and other sources then the public will wake up at the damage they do, as long as there feeding on our pigeons no one outside the fancy cares

I think the governing body should ban birds out from Oct to January! I know this will upset people as Xmas racing is local here but a few months with none of our doo's out could see a few struggle over winter! If people need birds out section to clean then can just be basketed up and be down to the club officials to keep everyone inside rules

Good point about sickness from baskets! I had a hen last week that was spot on going to race then she was my 3rd bird and next day looked terrible with dirty wattles! Sent sample to vet straight away and wee bacterial problem and all sorted now! But she got something while is basket

It's an atmosphere problem I think, I also believe something happened to the leaders on sat! My first pigeon would have been 10th choice from 10 sent and majority I spoke too got unfancied birds (not everyone of course) but loads said it was there under performers! My bird that was 6th fed last week and has 4x1st clubs and nat diplomas is missing! I got all yearlings so I find it interesting that me, Gary and Andy are missing our main birds from same race!! And many other fanciers down main doo's so has leaders ran into problems? Has experienced doo's tried to use heads to avoid something and flew into trouble and others battered on! Who knows and no disrespect to leading birds by the way! Am only giving 1view, no one can know for sure

Heard pentland may be doing it in 7 hours 1 min, only hear say that mr Fraser is in but not heard a midlothian time yet! There is def a birdin Penicuik 7hours 12 mins but again pentland
