  9. Good on you mate. Hope I have one ;D
  10. I seem to find the hot sunny days turns out hard races. An old fancier was telling me he prefered there to be cloud cover. His logic was that the BOP went high when it was very sunny just floating around so there were a lot of hits. He also said birds could see them in distance and they took long/wrong ways round them meaning long time on wing... Think there is a little sense in what he said. Hope for good race 2moro. Only 5 widow cocks so not want to lose any
  11. This young bird has just came in tonight. Very tired and hungry... Been very hot day here today so was in big need of a drink.. Anyone know this one.. Never heard of CON???

Wakefield is getting bad press at the moment. We got told it was percys that went into our birds when we raced a couple weeks ago. Worst race we've had for a while
  13. Just spoke to Midlothian race controller and he phoned the other feds from Leicester and none want to go up together?? Crazy!!!!! They are all coming same way > >

Two blues for us..... I also have lost a grizzle that was doing well for me. Always early. So fear the worst for him
  17. I hope they go together. I would even like them to have an Amalgamation race every year. Can sort of remember the last one we had but it must not have went well as it never happened again... Anyone know the year??
  18. I have heard of people with birds found dead 400 yard from there street... BOP got it... True!!
  19. Hi... I have lost 8 birds from the top of my roof in the last 6-7 weeks.. How can these possibly go un reported or are they dead?? I would have thought one fancier in the area would have got at least 1 in.. :-/..... Brids are SU06B1996 SU07B1623 SU07B1637 SU08ML4665 SU08ML5723 SU09ML221 SU09ML229 SU09ML230 Some birds where bought in and I was in process of breaking when they vanished and 3 where young birds... 229/230 are nest mates?? Not seen a single sight from them once they go missing... Strange one for me
  20. With birds of prey??
  21. Yeah prob right.... Just want something to change I suppose. Try something. We had to call it a day with two YB races to go last year. Would have been cleaned out. Pray we get it better this time around with the young
  22. Yeah I know mate. Try telling half my fed that.....
  23. We(Rosewell) try to get Midlothian to try west every year.... They say to many hawks??? :-/ :-/ But think we all know theres hawks everywhere now. So still dont know why we dont give it a chance. Even just one year. Cant be any worse!!!!
  24. Sounds good to me. Would like one in my area. You got transport to take them to the racing? I Think you'd get people coming very easily for £300 prizemoney. But with pooling it would make it even bigger.
  25. Yeah Eddie Wright passed away
