first i have heard it is good to have them in a basket a day longer is good for the birds maybe the driver would run out of driving hours so needs two days to get there is that not the reason transport problem?????

i would not train on a friday as most guys dont train on a friday more chance of a hawk strike with there being less pigeons in the sky i like to see them out flying on a friday and maybe a bath if it is nice think it keeps them calm

hi i know you have heard of yb sickness but i have two yearlings birds i found thoughing there food back up an ideas what the problem is they feel ok weight wise coming from training ok they are feeding big ybs i have been feeding breeding mix,gerry plus, gem pellets mixed they have been cankered before breeding

hi as some people know i moved lofts taking my old stock birds with me to my new loft i pulled down my old loft last Friday two birds escaped and returned to the old loft location i managed to catch one outside in the garden but the other one i could not catch so i gave up hoping it would go into another loft nearby but i could not believe it when going into my new loft the missing bird was sitting on a perch yesterday it has not even been outside my new loft since i moved in October these birds never stop amazing me ;D

iam the only one in my club with no distance for hexham our sec is a good one he keeps all the measurments of past races i have moved loft location thats why i have not got a distance for hexham did you not race from hexham two or three years ago

i said it was the birds first race not mine sent 10 last week and 8 this week i have 18 for racing are you from coatbridge? guess that says it all

guess what they leave aycliffe because its misty to head to otterburn but on the way to otterburn the weather starts to clear so the convoyer and the controller make a choice carry on to otterburn or let go in hexham its no hard to work out : you got a race and a good one at that just some people in carluke are never happy ;D

our club winner from hexham into lanarkshire 1343 ypm i sent eight got eight home not a bad time for me just behind the winner well pleased as this was the birds first race

just cant believe this after 35 years of pigeon racing at the house i grew up in sadly i had to take the lofts down which took all day to dismantle and burn it i then put the house up for sale before i went on holiday it sold quite quickly while i was on holiday i just found out tonight the guy who bought it keeps pigeons and will be racing from the old loft location my old neighbour was just saying she misses the birds not flying out in the morning wait till i tell her :B ;D

old guy looked like steptoe his lofts and garden were filthy the old white headed guy who looked after his wife look at his lofts they were ok and his love for his wife reminded me of tammy and alf ;D

would you not over do it cider vinegar everyday i use it not everyday though maybe twice a week i have had Yb sickness before not a pretty site i now feed my Yb's Gerry plus as it is more digestible garlic twice a week vinegar twice a week then plain water the other days

just glad he does not stay next door to me his garden was in a right mess looks like a bar of soap would not go a miss either so tammy do you think that guy done pigeon racing a turn or made it more appealing to the man on the street?
