come home from st andrews golfing today left at 6.30 so set my ets system so i could time in if there was a race phoned a club member who collected my clock for him to say i never timed a bird that made my day even worse as the golf was crap checked my system at 21.00 still no birds opened the loft to find 5/6 birds home the system never timed my birds will need to check my system in the morning :'( :'( :'( :-/

would think it would be difficult to race like that nowadays jimmy with the hawk problems i think you must have a large team of Yb's to start with gone are days of starting with 20 Yb's as you would not have many yearlings left iam starting with forty this season take for instance i have a hen well bred as a yb it was hawked had to stop it now as a yearling hawked again stopped again this bird is untested a few years ago this bird would have raced the full Yb programme and as a yearling out to 250 miles we are breeding of untested birds that is our problem in today's racing would you not agree that's why most fanciers with big teams can see out the full programme

get back in touch with the rpra when i report a bird i ask the owner do you want your bird back or will i look after it for you as i know how expensive it is to get them home so the choice is there's if someone does want it back and doesnt make an effort to get it home then i would report him/her
