a swan gets tangled in fishing gut and dies.it,s mate on the nest has to feed so abandons the nest all 6 young in the eggs die.a female fox finds the dead swan and feasts on it .as she is run down through how much milk she is providing for her 5 cubs . she swallows the fishing gut half in her half hanging out her mouth.a few day later she die,s. a few day,s later her 5 cubs all dehydrated and starving are above ground in a field close by a river.a young man training his pigeons seen them on closer inspection he can see that they need help.a phone call later .all 5 cubs are rescued and taken to an animal sanctuary.all this from a small pice of fishing gut.

i had a few stray,s in and fed and watered them all then got i touch with the owners .all off them where happy to get their birds back.one in particular was a bird that came in to me from the ncc lerwick race covered in oil.got him cleaned up fed and watered for about a week.bird belonged to a mr and mrs Johnston and it was hard for them to get bird right away could not get courier . so for my wee bit time and kindness.i am now looking forward to my 2 jan aardens from mr and mrs Johnston next year.
