picauville 264 miles won 3 times in last 4 years and only time we didnt win was a smash and gave us a great fed results to 5th fed this year 3000birds, three years ago we sent 14 widdowood cocks and had them all in 10 mins as you say always seems to be a good/ lucky racepoint for us,,

I google this about two years ago and it quiet intresting to see what came up there was a newspaper report and i also found a theory of what happend in another link but just looking cant find that link anyware but all mentioned about the airliner so must of been correct..

are they all flying members our are they just club members as our club has 44 members but roughly only 20 to 30 members send most weeks

hi mate in our club they had a lottery grant a few years back and baught t3 with them and everyone uses one of them or in another local club they did the same and you can hire one for £1 a week to hire would be cheaper than buying one would try the clubs you are joining see if they have anything like that before you go and spend your money, hope this helps..

dont know about doing it reguarly but it wont hurt when they are learning one of the great flyers from by us always said before you start serious training short tosses in every direction gives the young birds a great basis to start with,,

hi guys here one of our old favourites (the fed hen)an exceptionnaly good racer winning 2 of her 4 races as a young bird race 1 nothing race 2 1st club 300 + birds 1st worcter fed 5473 birds race 3 1st club 300 + birds 3rd worcester fed 5000+ birds beaten by about 3 seconds but wouldnt trap. race 4 3rd open race 200+birds then after 2 years being used as a widdowood hen she went into a race and was 2nd club beaten by loft mate (full sister) and next race came home injured never raced again. The only sad note about this hen was that she never produced a good racer for us was always used as a widddowood hen. Untill a few years ago she was given away to another fancier who had a stock loft and she produced a winner in her first nest..

yes mate i agree our race team have just gone down only get out the weekend if the weather is good so they aint been out for a few weeks,,

crazy even if you want to be ultra competative in the first races. these birds will be knacerd by the 3rd or 4th race. my dad has won the first race 3 out of the last 5 years in a stromg club and he wont start til 2 weeks before the first race and they will only have 2 15 miles and then 3 30 miles,,
