have just taken these round to my dads to put in the race loft,

me to and had 4 out of her last year and all 4 of them were here after young bird season finished 2 took prizes too, 2 in race team one in stock loft and one borrowed to a mate, all cocks too, same again this year first round two big eggs and both look like cocks, i do feel that laying eggs that size will cause her to become infertile in time,

i hope so mate this is the 1st time they breed anything other than a grizzle, they are the joker lines (coremans) and a mate has said that the checkers out of that line end up being the best racers( hope your both right)

have breed a cheqer out of 2 white grizzles no idea were it come from, nest mate is a white grizzle

had 14 out of 14 in stock loft but one looks a weakling, and 46 out of 48 in race loft sadly the 2 that missed were out of our best cock

i think this is a good call for 98% rule but does differ from year to year, you only need to look at your own lofts and see how many birds you have over 3 years old when all the average birds are gone and left with the better ones

i feel that breeding 100 young birds after 3 years anyone left with 8 would be doing well, but after 3 years you would be hopefully have deleted the rubbish and you would be left with some decent birds,
