  1. Good turnout at the Heol y cyw marking station and really organised,both Bricon and Unikon ets systems running which made the marking a lot quicker.Looks like a fast race tomorrow. Good luck everyone. nigel.

  8. if your widowhood cocks are coming well on the system why pair them up? mine only flew 9o miles as youngsters and all flew 195 last weekend,there is no way i am going to stop them yet,they must fly 300 miles as yearlings,thats the only way to test them. And they will stay on widowhood.
  9. Gail if a transfer card isnt filled in properly you can send it back,it should be the same with race sheets ,if fanciers cant fill their sheets in properly give it back,i bet they WILL fill them in on the next race.its their problem .they should sort it .
  10. If they have got no distances on their sheets then dont except them,its their responsibility to make sure their sheets are filled in correctly,the marking stations should say no distances no race as simple as that. make life a lot easier for everyone.

The follwing positions have been won this year. 2nd 3rd and 4th club Leatherhead 2nd 3rd and 5th federation 1508 birds. 1st and 3rd club Maidstone 2nd federation. 1st 2nd 3rd and 5th club Folkestone. £160 plus carriage for the 8. or £25 each.

  14. Lot of good pigeons about dai gore kenfig hill 2 together at 4.52 clive akers 4 43 woodlands 4 43 john cooper 4.39 sterio bros cardiff 4.30 myself 4.46 and 4.47 returns are good 19 out of 21 for me.

  16. Hard race for us from Maidstone,wind on their beeks all the way,managed 1st and 3rd only one missing from 20.2nd 3rd and 5th fed last week 1850 birds.
  17. young birds should at least get an ounce and a quarter a day,quarter in the morning and an ounce in the evening,get yourself a small BELL,everytime you are about to feed them ring the bell,they will get use to this sound and even when they are not really hungry when you ring the bell they will respond and come in.. it works everytime for me.Dont use red band myself,personally its not for me.Dontb like giving youngbirds small seeds.

  23. What a cock up,some welsh feds going to Epsom,,Rhondda valley going to Guildford!!!!!!! Surely someone should have looked at the Leatherhead site before now to see if it was any good. As far as i know the South west Glamorgan are still going to Leatherhead,havent heard anything different.Now the Welsh north road are out of the Combine,all the other welsh feds should surely go to the same lib site. Anyway good luck to everyone,west wind on their beeks,and about time.Make them work a bit.
