  1. Thanks for replies.
  2. Can anyone help with what is the best drop trap for use for ETS, say for about 8 holes. A link would help.
  3. Many thanks, done. If they fly 650 miles I will be over the moon. PM sent
  4. I'll have them.
  5. I had a top fancier come to my loft once and he picked out most of my best by the eyesign . He showed me the theory and it as gone on from there. Do you remember the Busschearts I had sent down , they where gone within a week because they did not meet the criteria. I have met many fanciers since I was shown how to study the eye and their best birds stick out like a mile on the eyesign. Again I am not saying it is the way for fanciers. everyone to their own, but it was evident when i was there that day, and it continues.
  6. Great letter Stu.
  7. I used to believe it was a load of nonsence. I don't now!!
  8. No problem Blaz, thanks for the pm.
  9. I tell you what mate you need to get a life. I have ran around picking these birds up at my time and cost and yet we have one person who moans about what I am doing. I have did it for the birds welfare to have a chance of making Scotland and not flying 500 miles from Plymouth. Make sure you wing stamp your birds and I will leave them where they are. By the way folks, they went up at 13.35 in overcast skys. Hope they make it.
  10. Well said that man.
  11. I used to get it every year without fail, and you can stick the comments about bad management where the sun dont shine, because my pigeons get looked after better then my wife. I have not had it for about 3 years now as i give them natural products that keeps it away.
  12. I am not reporting nowt mate. Doing whoever a favour. If they are not wing stamped then not my problem.
  13. I am taking 8 SU rung birds to Manchester from Plymouth tomorrow to liberate. They range from 05 to 08 rung birds. These have been collected in the local area. Do not ask why I have not phoned the owners, because they are not wing stamped and they are all double rubbered. Beggers belief how they got threw the marking stations.
  14. How many birds went to this race?
  15. I do not know if this as been covered yet, but did anyone see in the Sun yesterday that 4 had been killed in Durham and one shot in Glouster.
  16. I am not being funny here, but they had a disaster last year also.
  17. PM sent.
  18. I have one with case and quickstart. serviced last year with new battery and guarentee. 120 plus 10 carriage if you want it.
  19. No problem, thanks.
  20. This was a topic about my issues, not having a pop at eachother. As for your comment about him licking my a--, I dont think so mate. If you want to write about crap like that, then go to another topic and not mine.
  21. You can do if you break it down with kiln sand to around 20% lime.
  22. You are wrong there. It hit me at 05.02 last Wednesday.
  23. I know, it's just doing my head in. The RPRA are doing nothing for us. A few details in the BHW about hawk watch is a joke. He has been to me and my fellow neighbour three times since last week. They are all on web cams down here with 24 hr watchers. I came back into the sport last YB since 2001 and to be honest you cant race anymore with ease with these in the skys. Training YB's soon and we are all dreading it. There are at a guess 5 pairs within 10 miles.
  24. Great pic mate. Put a St George on the background though.
