  1. If they would have ended up in France then they are no good. Like the writer of this article and I am only giving an opinion, to me the birds should have been liberated and like the guy says, it would have sorted out the best from the rest. But you have to respect what the SNFC committee have done as fanciers put them in these positions.
  2. I am currently living in Poland due to work and it is a huge sport over here. As stated they are very dedicated to it and I have never seen so many lofts. It's like the 70's and 80's in the UK. They do not have trouble with BOP though, reason they kill them. They did have an issue but they have resolved that. Lots of German pigeons they race. And they keep big teams of birds as corn is cheaper here.
  3. Please can Cloudview contact me ref transfer of YB.
  4. Agree. I have seen sparrowhawks attack in the air also and this was never the case.
  5. You cannot afford to miss pigeons like them if they come up for sale.
  6. There everywhere and geting worse season after season. Hope you get them.
  7. Beautiful place. Percy country in the Irish sea I would imagine.
  8. Crackers. Some lovelly pigeons mate. I remember Freddie Nurse of Ivybridge had a Joe 90. He was a fantastic pigeon who won bucket loads. And he was a Verheye. Small world.
  9. Away from your subject a little bit, I had one a few years back I called breakaway who was my first bird home at every training toss as a youngster. I thought I had a super champion. Lost it first race.
  10. Training is of no importance on times. It's about getting them fit and educating them. Race days are completly different. You have more birdage, more breaks for them to pull out etc. The wind of course is a major factor. Like one comment earlier. Many have had quick trainers and long trainers.
  11. Fair play to you, this is a very good start after years of doing nothing of any fact.
  12. I thought I would put the Sire and Dam details down for lots 7 and 10 to help you. Good Luck Sire Direct son of Champion Bruder Beatrix full brother to Kuyper Bros fantastic hen 'Beatrix' sold for £65,000 in 1989. Dam is Double g.dtr of De Smaragd II when paired to Dolle 290 & the Dax Hen.
  13. Agree. I think they are crying for a first class manager.
  14. Paul Sturrock is available :-)
  15. Thanks for the clarification. I believe they flew the YB programme for you. They are two Grand children of Champion Bruder Beatrix by the way.
  16. I heard from from good fancier that white toes on a cheq or blue would breed winners. How I do not know.

    gutted

Outstanding specimen again taken through uncontrolled measures. This is when you feel like jacking it in.
  18. This guy is not the first to sell off old news. There are still plenty selling that have not won a carrot and never will.
  19. I will have my hen back for the same price paid If you would like.
  20. As plenty of members know I was nailed every day near enough in Plymouth. Racing is doomed in the UK unless something major happens. Since being in Poland and asking many fanciers here, its simple they have them but they are not around for long.
  21. Great. Will contact you tomorrow.
