How many extra miles would coming round the Pentlands add on to a birds race? Most velocities are lower than they should be given the extra miles the birds are having to race?

Thanks. So from the likes of Kelso the Lanarkshire birds will hopefully come north west via Peebles, Elsrickle, Carluke and Motherwell etc, strong west winds permitting?

Anyone on here know the probable liberation time of Saturdays race from Carnwath? I stay close to Carnwath and would like to see a liberation again. It's been a while since I saw my last one.
