Can I join the SNFC if I only joined my local for 1 year?

I’m at st combs Fraserburgh but visit Aberdeen on days so yeah like to help out with Pigeons as like to talk about them too, I have disability which I cannot lift heavy things but feeding or water even catching the birds I’m fine with also can help with releasing them for training. I separated my sexes a while now but pair up in February as that way eggs be laid before the old bird racing starts so some birds can race back to babies then when the babies are old enough during July then it’s young bird racing

Hi peeps I’m looking to get more nestboxes cheap or free if old and must be in Scotland as can travel to collect them

I treat mine like they are family I just enjoy the doos and when it comes to racing it’s exciting when they come home

I’m interested will it come in bits to fit in a big car?

I just leave them as natures way is if there’s babies there’s babies if not the eggs are disposed of

Have 30 birds now for old bird racing next year and start the training on March

I prefer February as then eggs will come along in March or April

You join your local club and they will help you also you get a transfer ring sheet from the guys that gave you birds and good luck for next year

Back from my holidays and all my birds are fine just one thing is wrong is the pile of sh** to clean lol

I was only asking a question but surprised there’s unhelpful advice eg slagging a new beginner which is me, they all got to watch what they say as that’s why I notice people leaving the hobby due to twats spitting out their dummies and bawling and swearing. There’s more to life than just Pigeons. Keep the beginners not lose them.

Right I’m going to close off by saying I’m young at 38 and no way am I being tied down by so called experts saying I cannot have a holiday for the sake of my Pigeons, they will be looked after. People who say don’t need a holiday I bet they had in their life and half of the folk here are retired so that’s a holiday to them.

It’s not a disgrace to the sport we all need holidays I can’t just say no to my family and upset my son for not going to Disneyland, my birds will be fine and I got someone to check on them while I’m away

Well explain to me how other fanciers gets holidays too lol Not a wind up we gone on 15th ☺

Hi peeps got a question is we are away on holiday for 1 week will my Pigeons be ok without food for week there will be plenty of water or will I need another pigeon guy to help check on them?

Well I have separated the cocks and hens so my winter plan is to sort the nest boxes out to be extra ones put in and fix up the main breeding loft and fix the young bird loft roof as it leaks.
