what does the members on here think this rule means , is it 2/3rds of the members at a meeting or is it 2/3rds of the membership of a club/fed , to change a constitutional item?

well bigda in all clubs round the country, and i mean ALL CLUBS you have guys who race really well at the start then theres those who come into it a wee bit further out then theres the guys who come into their own at the far end and there is a few that compete at all distances , they set out a program , it might not be fair to some but it's called democracy mate , meaning that more are for it than against it , as i said everybody's not always happy about it . but you are the only one out of this huge lanarkshire fed ,that comes on here, who is against long distance racing , which to me is you are a in a very very SMALL minority. dont you believe in democracy?

the best way to do this is that you have to put your proposed race program into the secretary by a certain date not individual races , race programs from 1st to last ,then the members can vote on what is the best one submitted , voting on separate races is murder and totally wrong imo.

BIGDA im not in lanarkshire fed ,and for th life of me i cant understand were you are coming from , you talk about the distance men ripping the fed off,how is this? your fed is going to the longest races with the snfc so is not going to cost the fed any money ,you talk about you racing inland ,say 9/10 old bird races and 6/7 young bird races so there is only 1/2 races over the channel, so how can you come on here and slag off the distance men be it lanarkshire or any fed for that matter then its only 1/2 races at the distance. I think the problem is you could never compete with the distance men in lanarkshire at the distance , so its you that likes to stay in your comfort zone the boys races.

there is some mate who just dont realise what its like , inland races are just that , just another race , but france (national) races its as if you have died and went to heaven when you get a good one.

i think it was about concorde going supersonic and breaking the sound barrier over the english channel at the time the centenery race from nantes would have been coming over the channel, i think it was a disaster

maybe no davie , as a friend told me last night the last time the snfc went with the UNC who was 2nd open ? jim hannah blantyre west section so maybe no davie , but time will tell

my clubs not bad with 21/22 members with at most 15/16 flying most weeks

how can you call it lsc if it includes renfrew &ayrshire, maybe a name change?

i dont see the point in going west of the pennines to appleby then the following week an open race from wakefield the other side of the pennines never mind the 70mile jump,crazy if you ask me i can see midland going down hill fast.

well thunder if there is fanciers out there doing that then a few years of success then night night their done , gone until new birds have been brought in
