Taking home not only a class youngsters you gave us your banter and wisdom. It's no wonder why you have had so much success at distance racing into the west section. Really enjoyed preparing our birds and all the build up to this race last year. I was hoping you guys would have went south with the birds making it more of a level playing field for everyone competing. Somewhere like Appleby for example.

Sorry to hear of such poor returns from your first toss. I've trained birds in less than 1 degrees in December for the Xmas race and never lost a bird. I've timed birds with snow on my veranda in the past . I wouldent blame the cold temperatures for poor returns. In my opinion the reasons for these heavy losses are due to the distance being far too much for unfit birds too early on. Then the visibility was not good throu there on Saturday . Then sounds like Percy played a big part too. I hate to hear of such losses especially before the season has even started. I hope you guys are getting more birds back..

I'm sorry to hear that Tam. We took our birds to Whitburn today with a good frend of ours birds too. Our friends birds were quite sharp home but we have been getting them all day. Not ideal prep for any race. Still one missing. Guess what it's my pic of the 7.. Sod's law.. Lol.. I hope you get your bird back tomorrow..

You know fine well who you never paid. When you take any bet on whatever it might be you must honour it. I've had 4 private messages today all telling me the same thing . I'm not sure about your statistics but I look forward to the challenge. Remember less on the keyboard and more in the loft who knows you might one day be half as good as me. I like to give some friendly advice even to fanciers like yourself. Good luck ..

Thankyou sir you never fail to dissapoint yourself. Do something in this game then I might consider you as pigeon fancier. If I could advise somebody like yourself. I would say spend less on the keyboard and more time in the loft .

I'm very suprised you guys would need any training as your only along the road from Dunbar. But I suppose if Johnny says train them you do as your told.. í ½í¸­í ½í¸­
