Earlier this week I had a pigeon reported by a non fancier in Barnoldswick and collected for me by one of the site members Leroy to whom I am very grateful,just had another reported today,again by a non fancier in Stockport hopefully getting it sorted and put in the care of a fancier till I can get a courier sorted to collect both. Have you had many reported by non fanciers this season. Lindsay

Last week our birds were brought back from Appleton to Garstang because of bad weather,I think it's fair to say most had a very good race.This week back to Appleton 101 mile to me,though mine will be staying at home.

It might be better if we miss todays weather out,it's black and absolutely pissing down,the back gardens near flooded and it's only the start of it.

I had two SU11S birds in yesterday,one wing stamped,I phoned the bloke who informed me that the other pigeon was from the same club.Hopefully they should be with thier respective owners this evening. Some thing similar happened to me a few years ago luckily I didn't have far to travel to collect the bird,NEHU rung and transfered, a young pied with a lot of white flights ,stamped on at least six.Reported to the NEHU and the bloke who reported it knew me very well.When I collected it I mentioned the wing stamps ???????????? I didn't see them,they even showed through the overlapping flights,thick tw*t. Lindsay

If you look at some of the returns from Otterburn on other sites they would like to have been at Kelso 4/40-- 9/41 and more. Hope these lads get a few turn in. Lindsay

Sorry mate I assumed his mate was tame to your loft,but the onion in a bag works.

Why let a pigeon out on it's own when it's not tame to your loft ?? Keep him hungry let him out late at night with his hen. Should he persist in going back,chop an onion up put it in an empty feed bag and put the pigeon in the bag at the other loft,leave him in the bag for a hour or so. Release into is new loft.
