I've had trouble with download speed for some time now,being a bit like a terrier I don't give up easy.I think my provider is a bit pissed off with me at the mo.I've gave them some serious grief and to be honest they have tried and tried.Had a chat with a BT engineer the other day and explained the situation,he gave me a new incoming box but didn't have a spare tool which you use to secure the cable.Then new openreach boxes have an ADSL accelerator.That got me thinking because mine's the old BT type and I found this on you-tube. Hope it's of some interest to anyone with a poor d/l speed. Lindsay

All is forgiven,they phoned me yesterday afternoon parcel arrived this mo. Postage dearer than that coming from Spain and item also dearer.I suppose they need the cash. Don't think I'll be using them again.

The season started off as per usual,got a hammering by percy just as the youngens were finding their wings .Had 32 till that happened,ended up with 20. Trained up never lost another youngen First race sent 20.>>1,2,3 and 4th,140 birds away,I dropped 1. Second race sent 19.>>3 and 5th. 119 birds bad race big losses all round I dropped 6+1 hawked. Didn't send to next race weather forecast was terrible,got that wrong had a good race. Fourth race sent 12.>>1,2,4,5 and 6th,92 birds.all home. Fifth race sent 12.>>3,4,6,7 and 8th,94birds all home 1 hawked. Sixth race,first fed race, sent 11.>>1st club,9th fed 19th two feds amal.91 birds in club,two feds3443 birds,dropped 1. That's them to 145 mile and 12 left.Stopped them. Forgot to mention 2 reported one was dead.

Cold fresh NE wind at the mo.

I know in the eyes of the law,ignorance is no excuse but surely a governing body such as the RPRA should have a duty to keep it's members informed.ie.banned substances.Have the SHU,NEHU,IHU,NWHU and WHU got a similar list,was the confederation dumped a while back ?? so each could have their own ideas so to say. A poor situation to be in and as I said previously wants sorted.

The natural day light bulbs are good ,used for people with SAD syndrome,could benefit your birds,as Ryan says the real thing is better and free,the bulbs are expensive. I used something along the same line when keeping tropical fish,the plants started to take the tanks over. :emoticon-0138-thinking: Lindsay
