Are you still there Davey or are you on the pop. Start the computer and press F8 continuously. Should start in Safe Mode. Control panel and open user account Go to password and remove it. Restart .

What probably happened is your user profile didn't shut down properly and more than likely is corrupt. Are you on windows 7? Can you start in safe mode ?
