There's something sadly amiss here because there are good fanciers who know their birds loosing big numbers and others also good lads getting good returns,is there an internal problem that's not showing an external sign,ie.still good droppings,still exercising well,put them in a basket away from the loft and they don't come home ?? :emoticon-0138-thinking: :emoticon-0138-thinking:

Yesterday,West Cumbria Federation were at Garstang,liberated at I believe 07:15 roughly a 50 mile journey home,some 90% of the fed.missing ? Some lads 80 or so missing. I feel sorry for these lads a real stinker,but what happens ? what's the problem ? Was it the heat/sultry weather ? BOP ? Birds that look good externally but there's an inner problem ? I wish some one could put their finger on what's going on. I have a small team and don't fancy racing them if this is the outcome,all have had one race,nine have had two,all very well trained,has anyone had good old birds from youngens that have had little race experience ?
