  8. Totally agree Peter,this season with a bit of luck we have a young bird program that should be ideal to help those affected by YBS. Also those not affected. Flookburgh 1 & 2. Leyland 1 & 2. Appleton 1 & 2. Stafford 1 & 2. Stratford. Tewkesbury. Though things can change before we get there.

Some good post on here,but one thing that I would like to point out irrespective of how many young bird races there are,I would say 99% of young birds get YBS before the racing actually starts,usually after some good training and you end up missing the first few races and start playing catch up,big losses because some fanciers think the young birds are over the problem when they are obviously not.

  14. Wish I had 14 Mb download speed,most of the village are on 2 or 3 ,luckily I got the engineer out for another prob.he said there are three lines coming onto the estate and I was on the slowest,now getting 7 Mb.

  21. How did we manage to rear good youngens 50/60 years ago ? Can remember my dad going for feed and only allowed a stone (14 pound).Managed without all the add ons.What's with breeding youngens that big they can't get off the loft floor for days,the lean one's are always first to perch and first in the sky,unless someone has a different idea ?
