Walter, after speaking to David Reed who bred the pigeon, we have decided to stop her for the year. David tells me the grandfather of the hen is a full brother to McAloney's Shadow Image and is inbred on both sides to Shadow. Thank you and everybody else for taking an interest in the pigeon. Thanks Derek for your kind remarks. I now have a very difficult decision regards to stopping the David Reed hen. My young birds and old birds are always mixed together and never separated therefore the young hen is not flying darkness or any other system and is now well on the body moult and is on her last three flights. So do I stop her?
