I've being giving my birds garlic one day then cider vinegar the next then multi vitamins followed by multi vitamins the day after a race my dad gives both garlic and cider vitamins on a daily basis and seems to do alright in the fed racing as he's not a national man I'm only looking for advice from experienced flyers like you're selfs thanks for the opinions so far guys,atb Kenny

What would you recommend ? Twice per week or just the once?,cheers andy

Just watched a video on pigeon insider about garlic..this guy gives it a minimum of once a week in the wi winter to expand the veins so the wattles don't go grey and and the blood flows better therefore turning the wattles white but he doesn't mention anything about the sping/summer..I give my birds garlic in the water all the way through year(every second day) any comments welcome as I'm a novic in this sport and this is my second ob season

Had a wee prob a couple of weeks ago myself,prob was my nestboxes are all identintical and the cocks were getting mixed up with their own boxes and were fighting with each other when in th wrong nest box,seeked advice from my dad and he advised me to keep every second nestbox half shut with the door open,worked a treat just goes to show for us novices ask the experienced flyers and they'll do their best to help us,thank god for the experienced goys eh bud?atb kenny

Sorry to hear that pete..to me sounds like b.o.p because cats mostly like to play with them and I doubt a cat would try to carry dead bird over fences,p.s check your lofts for scratches up your loft as if a cats been near it would definetly be climbing onto your lofts,o.m.o and hope you get to the bottom of it m8
