Thanks for the reply m8.. Birds have plenty of fresh grit,minerals and pick stone daily..I've not had a problem with jelly eggs until today but the bit I can't understand is the hen laying two eggs in 4 hours

Cleaned out loft at 1pm this afternoon have a blue cock that's pairing on with a blue hen and cheq hen(boxes right next to each other)now here's the strange part just back in from the loft and the cheq hen had laid not one butyl two eggs both jelly..has this ever happend to anybody before or anything similar?im completely baffelled with this..strange .second egg was stuck to the hen just can't understand it

I've got 44 old birds and breeding 40 ybs this is my second season racing old birds so hope I can complete the programme,never timed a bird over 300 miles last year but don't know if the birds weren't good enough or am just not up to it yet..btw I've got ten late breads so don't think I can count them as if I can get them coz if I can get them to about 150 miles I'll be putting them back for next year..fingers crossed..good luck guys

If the ybs are to small I wouldn't send ay hens but cocks NO PROBLEMS as I'll hahave to do this myself this season as most of the ybs will be too small in the nest year the hens will go the second or third race m8 as I've no problems jumping pigeons..atb kennybhoy
