the reason for asking the question was a video by top top flyer had two lofts stood next to each other one faced east one faced south and he said I have not got the east facing loft right yet iget more winners from the other loft thanks for replies hope they can put minds at rest and maybe save them a lot of money lol eagle can a 10x6 loft compete with mob flyers?

I always thought barley was used as a measuring stick to the right amount of food to feed your birds ie ten birds 9 portions of good mix 1 part barley if they leave a bit barly they have had enough if they leave good mix your feeding to much must eat barly at next meal before you give them adjusted next meal measures hope this makes sense and you could play marbles with my birds droppings of course fresh water minerals and grit garlic water 1 day a week
