just looked at rpra rule, clearance sales, the loft & address prohibited for 3 years from date of sale from competing in any race or show, purchasing any rings or having further sales. dont no if nehu are the same but thay should be.
I bought 6 Louella ebbony x aardens stock birds from the stock clearence sales, as ebbonys are black i expected dark cheqs or pieds, i got blues and blue cheqs thay in turn bred blues and shalies nothing else, i gave them all away very disapointed,
bolton and williamson bought birds from bob mc donald in the 1980s these were dark pieds and w/fs off scarface one of bobs most consistant widowhood cocks out to 662 miles these were the originals.
for me the true aardens are dark cheq pieds and white flights no others, look at birds that the house of aardens advertise. these are the best not crossed.
mine are the same 2 to go some only 1 did wonder if thay would not moult out in time as it is the first time i have tried it in 10 years that i have done darkness.
I would still put them on dark if bred in dec or jan as if you dont when thay moult thay wont hold the filghts and come yb racing after 3 or 4 races thay will be on the last flights. the reason thay are not trained is one thay are moulting, two because you are changing there daylight hours the birds think its winter months and there homing ability would not be the same untill you take them off dark, also when taking off dark do it over one week from 9/5 then 6789 increase day light by one hour over the week
I put mine on dark as soon as thay are weaned, day light hours are from 9 till 5, thay stay on darkness untill 6 weeks before first yb race, I dont train them untill thay are taken off darkness,
I had one just the same few weeks ago, gave it a cocci tablet harkers appertex and it was fine within 2 days worth a try, it was filling its crop with water and droppings were loose and green.
I have west of englands will be taking them to pickering show in december, all 08 rung did not get chance to show them. will be in sales pens at £5 each.
