well i never had since 1997, natural live yogurt.

my ybs are on deep litter all season, a new water bowl is put in for them at the start when weaned off it is never washed out only rinced does not matter if it goes brown or green as this will help build there immune system, you can be too clean that is a fact. also i do not use medications, my vet is mr wheeliebin.

ybs hold corn in there crops over night then bring it up next morning others eat it then thay do the same,

give yogurt on the corn once a month and you wont get yb sickness.

dont feed them in the morning let them out at teatime lightly feed them when thay come in and do the same for a few days.

i would keep them at the 21 miles comming well, you only need a problem at the 50 mile and you could be getting them back all week so close to your first race.

i take mine off the old birds and put them on ybs.

young birds bred early could race in may, but the problem in england we are too far down the line distance wise to start them off.
