I race in a 10 bird club 10 to 12 members send each week missed the 2nd and 3rd weeks,as birds picked up a bug 1xst,2nd missed missed 2nd 2nd 2nd +fed positions atb

Yes i only bred 6 youngsters out of them. indeed they flew well,one was a nom bird,a dark pied cock. Terry Mac can certainly breed good birds. cant complain with them,flew well,there still here. atb

all have gone now sadly,along with their master I read a line from a book,either...Masters Reveal there Secrets or Masters of Breeding and Racing. By Victor Vansalen,many top flyers also wrote topics in both of those fantastic books One of them said move on and dont live in the past create a strain of your own. easley said than done eh atb

A fella lost his entire stockbirds/youngbirds to a fire. (electrical fault)LOST THE LOT. I gave him 6 youngsters to help him..along with a few other fanciers. he rang to tell me 1 had scored in a national and others of mine scored in the fed he has ordered a few youngbirds for next year

No... didnt have a hen for him. also paid alot for another s v r pied cock,last year..off louella (an inbred to the vosse wittekop) never bred of him either!! the 2 hens i was going to buy in..never happened. thats life

I was originally looking at the Sticker-Donker pigeons, and Albert Hendix popped up on that page.

Has anyone on here got any of Albert Hendrix's birds?? been looking at them on the net, MY GOD they do look the DOGS NUTS,and fly well!! LIKE..looking back to those original speed Demons of Jos's in the early 80s.

Looks as though ours will have another 2nd night out (not good)!!!

And what about the perigrine falcon. he was not indigenous to these shores. They were brought over by either the romans or normans. and yet the eagle owl was always here.

thanks fot that, these peter van de merwe's stockbirds that i have. have always bred me some decent youngsters over the past three years. i hardly drop any,compaired to other breeds i have had. training tomorrow as usual,(without free flight)

but nothing in there crops,on there return

train my bird twice a week,tuesdays,thursdays,a 30 mile chuck with a trainer. today free fly.. there goneeee. an hour later 10 arrive back,(paired up ones) over 2 hours another 5 turn up. then a tad over 3 hours,the rest arrive. some of you might say aye there fielding. but my youngsters want for nothing,all the grits/red stone/minerals. on there time on the wing god only knows were there roaming. training 30 odd miles,bet there thinking he's having a :lol: atb
