going of the topic,about the eagleowl the RUDDY DUCK,a harmless little thing,used to enjoy watching them,when i was on the hunt for big carp up and down the country. a little diving duck with what looks like a blue plastic beak,about died of laughter the first time i spotted one Thought it was a windup,and when mating the cockbird about shakes itself to death anyways our ruddys were going over the channel to france,and mating with the french ruddys which were different,the french complained..guess what... they started culling our ruddys off!! that was a few years back,bet there all extinct now over here

put a bid on a pvdmr a son of kate £110,ON THE LAST MINUTE,with a max bid of £150. what i did not know was,they add another 10/12 minutes and so,giving bidders more time for further bids. so it could carry on till god knows when. i lost out...GUTTED

i have a small quantity,of each left from last year. ( human grade peanuts ) my question is..would you give your stockbirds them while feeding youngsters.?? normally i just stick to hopper beans, verselaga breeding,and hormoform in pots in there boxes just seems a waste to throw them. thanks in advance

There is a pot of black mineral always in the corridor, when i clean out the birds make a beeline out there boxes,into the corridor, and its a frantic race to that pot.morning/night in each compartment/s..there's 3 pots for redstone/pink min/grit. they want for nothing. i went around a friend of mines lofts,the other week, at midday he gives each pair..ie feeding young half a teaspoon of matrix thats all saffled up a thrice. i reckon they need that extra boost,same thing happened last year,i recall none of mine went off there legs tho..thank god thanks for the replies

I dont know about yours, im sure if i put a mug full in a pot they would demolish the lot its a feeding frenzy also seen on a dvd a good belgian flyer puts a pot of salt in for his birds, havn't tried that yet,he goes on to say,he got that tip from Ad Schaerlaeckens. atb

i have a spare shed in my garden,with 2 pair of late bred van reets,i would soon shift them. if i got the chance of one. there was a eagle owl on bird trader around 6 months ago. the add read,,VERY TAME EAGLE OWL,2 YEARS OLD,FOLLOWS YOU AROUND.EVEN INDOORS..FREE!!! thought to myself...AWESOME,got intouch with the fella...sods law..it had gone.

PROBLEM SOLVED. get yourself a friend AN EAGLE OWL if you have room old bop wont come no where near. a mate visited a fancier in the midlands near birmingham,he looked at various pigeons in different sheds and picked a few pigeons to purchase. there was a 6 x 6 shed, he never got taken to, Fred asked the chap what he kept in there,oh he replyed its my eagle owl, he noticed the 2 log perches out in his garden. this fella said he lets him out for a sweep around the garden,morning/afternoon and in nice weather leaves him out on one perch. never had any problems with BOPS. i kid u not
