forgot about portsmouth not great returns for me in race time but a few showed up later in the week burst up lost my 2 best hens one in alencon one in carntan but thats pigeon racing won six races one first section fed three national diplomas and a silver award and a few fed tickets see what i can dig out for clermont deff not been an easy season

only three in burnbank sent every race to many short races for me personaly my biggest losses were peterbourough and carntan had only dropped three birds racing up till then but was getting hammered training at the home end

1st walter boswell 892 only day bird 2nd walter boswell 795 timed 6 20 3rd sam roger timed 11 40 4th robert cushley timed 12 40 only four birds timed in club well done to sam and robert walter boswell wins the old bird average well thats the old bird season over guys some highs some lows but thats pigeon racing well done to club sec peter white and william reid both having a great season you pushed me all the way guys kept me on my toes lol well done to you both now for the young birds

thought i was not getting one cant believe ive just timed my blue hen that scored in the snfc portsmouth timed her at 11 29 59 pitch black gave me a great effort

i thought it had to be over 500 miles for a silver or gold award

take it we must be going through the tunnel thought there were qued up for miles or is that just the ferry port ah just been informed we are leaving from pool and its an open race four pounds a bird and theres prize money the guys voted for the cross channel race

lol no but i was in to minds to send my fancied bird to 600 miles never tried it before but if i get her she might go to clermont on a youngster need to see how it pans out now
