    Update Bird is eating and drinking ok I've had it out in the garden twice it just walks around. It has its number/letter ring on and a green tag/ring on the other leg. Got green droppings is this normal? Any help finding owner will be appreciated Cheers Gav

    Hello all Found NEHU2019SP1871 it came into work today and made very little effort to get away when I went to pick it up. I've given it some food and water at home. Does anyone know who it belongs to? Any help much appreciated. Cheers Gav

    Bird collected. Both the owner and the fancier who collected was very happy it had been reported.

    NEHU 2017 NY3918 Found in back garden last night. It does have another ring on which looks like a phone number so will check and call that today.

  9. Whilst i was out walking today i noticed amongst a group of ducks,geese and wild pigeons there was Four racing pigeons all four had rings on two still had race rubbers on. How come they are not making there way back home? Would you say they have forgot the way?? I see on here that birds are missing each week from races and training are some birds just not upto the job? Just to add these birds looked fine no sign of any injury.

    Anyone else see this just now on about how they think there are 72 urban peregrines nesting in the uk? then both clips of nests they showed in different locations was feeding there young a pigeon! Bad times
  11. Bull breeding this way am I right in thinking it would be left to the hen to rear the youngsters would the hen manage rearing two youngsters?

    Cheers for the reply I was keeping an eye out for any parents but couldn't see any so kept bird in over night with the seed and water and let it out about 1pm this afternoon it took off straight away on the neighbours shed roof got its bearings then off it went. ðŸ‘
  20. Evening I have a pigeon ( looks like a wood pigeon ) only a young one still has some yellow baby feathers. It only flutters around the ground doesn't get any height or fly at all. A neighbour seem to think it hit her window. I have put it in a wicker basket with some wild bird seed and some water What shall i do next? As a non fancier any help will be very much appreciated.
