I have a 6ft aviary on the side of my loft and the birds seem to prefer sitting out in that even when its chucking it down, so yes let them out, however geordiejen makes a good point about predators.
I bought 10 Albert Marcellis ybs from them in march this year. I've got 6 left(one came home via a courier)3 of them have top ten club, highest being 2nd. Nice birds and cheap in todays market.
Tough weekend for the top prem clubs, hard to pick a side, fancy Swansea to beat Everton and Fulham not to concede. Chelski win, Liverpool Man utd score draw and Arsenal to get something at City. Good luck all!
31 bought/given to me 14 after shocking 2nd training toss 17 (3 back after weeks away) plus 17 late breds, bought and given 2 not injured but returned minus a few tail feathers 3 reported Cant wait for next season!
I havnt to be fair, but they have been doing it for a couple of weeks and all seems well. I tried to stop them at first but short of keeping them in its a losing battle! Cant find anything conclusive on the net.
I have a hawthorn tree/bush in garden with red berries and my birds love them! They even fly into it and cling on upside down trying to eat them. Are they safe for them to eat?
Just a quick note to say after some shocking experiences with couriers how happy I am to have found you! What an absolutley superb service! Phone calls every step of the way and nothing too much trouble. Use them, they are pigeon people through and through! Thanks again.
Same here, season finished. Not such a bad thing for me in first season. Had some good results and gives me a chance to build a team. On the downside its been a hell of a lot of work for just 4 races! Hope next yb season is longer!
I need two picking up from northants, back to hereford and cant seem to find any courier that is interested in either answering the phone or calling me back! Any suggestions please?!
Its surprising even on older properties, I have been 15 years out of the sport because of it. It only takes one ill-informed "rats of the sky" merchant to enforce the rule.
I used to donate to the rspb, but coming back into the sport after 15 years out has been a real eye opener. We dont have it half as bad as you lads down here but it will come. I still have lost at least 4 of my ybs to bops and have 3 in the loft that have barely escaped with their lives and have the scars to prove it. Club members have the same or worse. I love nature but they are creating a natural imbalance.
Got 5 out of 7. Was 5th 6th 7th 9th 10th club, well pleased after last weeks shambles when I timed over 3 hours from 90 miles. Downside is my 1st club 7th fed from first race is awol.
