a race has just gone over the top of my house heading north over west yorkshire be interesting to know where they raced from and where they are going batches of about 60 70 in small intervals for about ten minutes skimming top of the houses by about 2 meters watched them from top floor of the house amazing

i think you might have hit the nail on the head with the grit cos the kept knocking it over so put it in a heavier container im new to the sport but i have been feeding them bamfords allrounder

i have a pair of old birds and 4 young two of which just starting to loft fly overs just making it to perch dropping arent green all the time though just sometimes if that makes any sense

hi just wondering do the colour of the crops change due to how healthy they are or is there something wrong with my birds there dropping have been greenish in colour too .Any help would be greetfull

some top fanciers say the darkness system doesn't produce good old birds i dont really know never tried it .As for loft hands allot have partnerships and share duties.

hi just wondering when you feed your birds different foods and why do you feed them different when racing and change what you feed them in winter .At the moment i just feed them pre mixed corn from a pet shop but would like to understand what to feed and when cos i know it depremental to a pigeons health .

i built a dovecote to try house pigeons and it was allot bigger than those you can buy yet the birds never liked it hence why i have bought a small shed plus you have more control over you birds this way hence getting your bird in when you want instead of them hanging about in neighbours gardens. this is what i found anyway buy im sure some may have more success

As im new to the sport i was just wondering what you should use and when to treat your birds for preventing diseases i already use cider vinager and advise would be greatfull cheers

im 26 from west yorkshire been interested with pigeons since my mate at school had a loft but was never aloud to keep them now i have my own house i have recently erected a small 6 x 4 shed which i have turned into a loft and recently settled a pair of old birds to the loft given to me by the father inlaw hoping for some younsters from them soon
