would start with a vent at the front just above ground level ,required to draw in cool fresh air ,and then look for the stale air to escape at the highest point within the structure . lots of if,s , but,s, and maybe,s , but thats the basic requirement.

hello Sam ,theres a whole host of books out there , might be an idea to take a look in the library first . as regards settling them to a dovecote theres a net you can place over it whilst they get used to it , or if young enough ,will settle fine anyway . good luck.

being an "auld safty" i have a weaning box i put a bed of soft shavings in , looks funny when theres 12 or more crammed into an 18 square box
