well rain WAS forecast , not here yet ,thank goodness ,birds out for a while

tried it in my 2nd year flying ,put 6 young cocks in with old hens . won the first race with one by a country mile. but lost 2 of them that day , week 2 sent the remaining 4 , miles behind and lost 3 of them ,week 3 sent the one cock ,still waiting

would have thought the opposite to be honest .although a lot would depend on the quantity fed too.
