many of us are right now scratching our heads as "what to pair to what" ?? how do you select a pair for breeding , whats the way to do it to best effect . related birds or un-related , old to young . what do look for in the off-spring ??

Geo , I asked Seona (Babybird) to pop along the corrider and wish him well from all the "Basics boys" .She has just walked him to the lift , on his way home .hope he gets time to relax and make a full recovery now .

I have a list of jobs I would like to do , yet struggled on Sunday to clean them out after being left a week maybe ,,,, in the spring will add "new" Perspex to let in more light .toying with the idea of grilles (top & bottom) in the gable end to increase ventilation ??

thanks for the reply Owen , I am considering this system ,would suit me having less birds (hens) .yet I have 2 race cocks that have previously bred winners so ??

I sympathise with you John ,at least you have a great hobby to get away from it all in your "spare" time .
