I musta been too busy replying to a PM , turned my head to see presents galore in the sitting room , Santas been , most are labelled for the children so will wait until the morning before opening mine
absolutely Bill , arthritic fingers and poor eyesight don't help at all , old age doesn't come by itself they say eldest boy would have been useful being an electronics engineer , he,s not visiting until 3rd Jan ,just moved house with his young lady
well I didn't plan on Mickey Mouse electronic sounds car (suits ages 12 months to 3 years) taking so long to assemble . had to take it apart ,Jackson strong enough to run about didn't need the support on it , steering wheel off first , small screw drops out ? wheres that from ? 12 screws out of the back and still couldn't dismantle it find 2 large screws underneath hidden away ,could barely get at them , eventually done (air is now blue) .re=assemble , horn doesn't work ?? 3 times ,still nothing ? wheres that small screw , that's the problem , fit that underneath the steering wheel ,steering column and front axle drop away to break a wire now nothing works 3 attempts to fix a wire barely thicker than a human hair , bingo ,all fixed , horn only works if you push it as hard as you would if " pushing Grandma off a bus" I hope the boy loves his toy , Daddy ready for that glass of whisky now I can tell you
the boys were awake 5.10 this morning , eldest back to bed sharp when he seen me , baby in with us ,so no sleep at all after visitors today , kids just in bed , have 3 more presents to wrap , then in if Santa hasn't been , I am having the whiskey the kids put out for him .
