ah you rich folk , i used to cycle 10 mile training mine. i once as a 12 year old cycled 40 mile, i had difficulty walking the following day , and didnt ride the bike for over 2 weeks following

yes , absolutely in my opinion . i have in the past trained yearling hens to 4 miles (approx) on the bus, and sent them 300 + odd miles to France . i was told i wouldnt see them again , yet timed all 3 on the sheet. they were well trained, and raced to 188 mile as youngsters.as Walter has said, they were fit too , flying well at home. as for the small basket on public transport , Ikea do blue shopping bags that fit small baskets neatly , cover with a towel , birds are quiet , passengers cant see them , so no objections . just sit with it on your lap, and good luck.

B.H.W. delivered to the door for me like Paddymac normally here on a Thursday morning . my 3 year Jackson thinks it the same booklet arriving each week (he often tells me "theyve sent it back AGAIN" .just this week renewed my subsription , very last minute, like last year i hesitated as to wether to continue with it ,,,, or not
