The lads I know in Hull had good returns last Sunday and by the time the birds met with the UNC, if at all, they should have got their line of flight. The problem is, as us north roaders have always found is that the UNC sometimes act like the secret service and are reluctant to speak about lib times.

Hi Paula, the ring is registered to the National Flying Club. You can find its owner by contacting the royal Pigeon Racing Association. This may help http://www.rpra.org/StrayPigeonReportingGuide/tabid/104/Default.aspx Thank you again.

Hi Paula, We need to know the letter which will appear after GB10 ? and then before the number. We will then be able to let you know where the bird should be heading! Thanks for your help in taking care of the bird.

Its been cold and overcast in North Yorkshire although the South Road birds with the GYA from Billericay (200 miles) have come well. Our north road birds however from Thurso despite having the wind with them are very gappy and lots missing. The pigeons have returned wet so I think there have been more showers about than the weathermen forecast, infact its been 10 times worse than the forecast. People I have spoke to who raced yesterday from Clermont have good returns.
-
Thirsk - pigeons racing back into Yorkshire & Lincolnshire. Only got 9/24 back - first birds about 11 but they've dried up coming
-
9/24 from Thurso back to North Yorkshire. Birds are very wet.
-
Good luck lads - be interested to know what weather has been like with you? We've raced from Thurso and the pigeons are coming home soaking wet so must have hit some showers on route.
