I STAYED AT THE RUSKIN HOTEL ALBERT RD FRIDAY AND SATURDAY NIGHT,THE STAFF, FOOD AND ENTERTAINMENT WAS EXCELLANT, I WOULD RECCOMMEND IT TO ANYBODY GOING TO THE BLACKPOOL SHOW . A GOOD HOTEL AND 2 MINUTES FROM WINTERGARDEN BANDIT

I would like to thank 2 forum members for there help over the blackpool weekend, STEVE D and OLD GUY. STEVE D went out of his way to collect and bring to blackpool some birds I bought in his area and also gave me a basket to bring my birds home in. cheers STEVE D and THANK YOU. Also OLDGUY for driving to blackpool with the birds I also bought off him THANK YOU It was nice to meet both fanciers and put a face to the name of the forum members, I had a very enjoyable time in blackpool and hope everybody had also BANDIT

I PAIRED UP 30 DECEMBER 21 PAIRS, STARTED TO LAY 9TH JANUARY NOW HAVE 16 PAIRS DOWN, THE OTHER PAIRS TOOK A FEW DAYS TO ACCEPT EACH OTHER, i ONLY SEPERATED FOR 12 DAYS AND PUT THEM BACK TOGETHER, WHILE APART I FED THEM 50% BARLEY DEPURITIVE AND 50% MOULTING MIX FOR THE 12 DAYS PUTTING WHEATGERM OIL AND LIQUID CALCIUM ON THE LIGHT MIX EVERYOTHER DAY ,THE BIRDS NEED TO BE THINNED DOWN BEFORE PAIRING AND THEN YOU SHOULD HAVE NO PROBLEMS. JUST TO LET EVERBODY KNOW IVE FOUND THE OWNER OF THE TUMBLER , HE TOLD ME A HAWK ATTACKED HIS BIRDS AND HE WAS MISSING 2 , IVE GOT ONE AND ID SAY THE HALK HAD THE OTHER, HE WAS PLEASED TO HERE THE BLACK P WAS SAFE AND WILL COLLECT IT TOMORROW, BYE THE WAY A LADY NON FANCIER BROUGHT THE BIRD TO ME AND WANTED TO MAKE SURE THE BIRD GOT HOME SAFELY AND I TOLD THE FANCIER TO RING HER AS SHE WAS SO GOODIN TRYING TO GET IT BACK HOME SAFELY, THANKS TO KIRKY FOR THE ADDRESS OF THE NPA WHO GAVE ME THE PH NO OF THE OWNER ALL WELL THAT ENDS WELL BANDIT

I believe they microchip pigeons in china ,dont know if its for racing or to protect against theft similar to getting your dog chipped, A question now for the forum members why cant we microchip our pigeons with information of colour and ring number inclosed, get them done just the once in a lifetime but they would still carry a life ring, of course a vet might have to do it, I wellcome your views BANDIT

Hi everyone I agree with most of comments regarding prices at blackpool this year, I was at the german show in kassel for the last 2 years and this year the birds and products were cheaper than the previous year.What the sellers want and what the sellers get a re totaly different, it will be a buyers market bargain if buying more than 1 product or bird at a stand, if no discount walk away and come back sunday and you will be able to name your own price as they wont want to bring anything back home again, just heard of fanciers cancelling birds ordered from belgium so now you know not a load of money about. to everybody happy newyear BANDIT

To get my mealy p hen back, she was a pet but also won 2 races, always landed at my feet and was a dream to own, she had beauty and brains, a wire or percy got her, still looking but she is missing a few months now. BANDIT

I will be breeding 70 and bringing in 12 to try against my own, also sending out arround 20 for others to test, so I should have 62 to start with, started the season last year 52 was left with 29, Ilost 1 training only and the rest racing,Iraced the darkness system for the first time this year. bandit

HAD BEANS EGGS AND TOAST INSTEAD OF THE FULL IRISH TODAY, LOOK OUT IT WILL BE MAD COWS NEXT WEEK THE FOLLOWING WEEK IT WILL BE THE TURKEYS, IT NEVER CHANGES ALL THE FRUIT WE EAT ARE SPRAYED WITH CHEMICALS AND THE CORN WE FEED OUR BIRDS IS ALSO SPRAYED AND POLISHED. I get both the bhw and the rp , bhw mainly for adds and the rp articles . Both are good reads depending on what you want, I also used to get the pigeon sport but sadly not arround anymore. BANDIT
