I agree with you MERLIN the ets has some plus and minus but its in so we have to get on with it, if people want to use a standard clock they can,the advantages are if your away working you wont miss a bird, disadvantage the cost when the economy is so bad. i like most think its to dear but will get it to be in with a chance because THE BIG BOYS will get it. all the fanciers went through siimular problems when they first got ets in the uk . this or that was a better system and like the uk it was rushed into IRELAND hense all the problems. lads stop fighting and look forward to racing , its only a couple of weeks away. good luck to everybody on the forum racing. Iwas told the pad had to be inside the loft and everything would be allright so there is a play on words ,my ets pad will be 7 inches inside my loft the traps would be just after that less than an inch away. if i had an open door id be ok as to get in the bird would have to go over the pad and be timed. whats to stop anybody moving the pad inside or outside the trap? once the bird is home its home end of story. some of my best birds all hens were clocked outside the loft dropping at my feet after a race and then being timed in to win. bandit

thanks kirky do you have to have the ets in the confins of the lofts, i know its a silly question but when i get the pad im going to put it on a step just before the traps ie bob wires the bird will scan before he goes through the trap, the bob wires are 7 inches into the loft on an internal sliding door. the loft has an outside sliding door whith i lock at night therefore anything passed the outside door in my opion is inside the loft. bandit

I AGREE ITS COMMING IN AND NO 1 REALLY KNOWS THE RULES, ALL I KNOW IS ONCE THE SYSTEM IS IN THE LOFT YOU WILL BE ALLRIGHT EVEN IF YOU HAVE OPEN DOORS ONCE YOU CAN GET THE BIRD TO SCAN . THERE IS ALOT OF UNANSWERED QUESTIONS AND WE NEED THEM ANSWERED QUICKLY. BANDIT

I thought unikon is a german company with a base in the uk therefore the price should be in euro and brought down a little for sterling areas, it sounds like it will cost alot with the addons such as text to your phone and the other bits and bobs, anyone know the cost of the top package including the above ie unikon system. thanks vallance bandit

THEY NEVER UPGRADED WHEN NEW CLOCKS CAME OUT SO I DOUGHT THEY WILL GET ETS. I WORK SATURDAYS SOME WEEKS SO IT WILL COME IN HANDY FOR ME. BANDIT

ONLY A COUPLE OF WEEKS TO GO SO IT WILL BE RUSHED IF IT COMES IN STRAIGHT AWAY.I WILL GET IT AS I WORK EVERY OTHER SATURDAY AND IT WILL BE HANDY. WE WERE RACING FROM FRANCE THAT DAY, WE WERE 1ST CLUB 10 OPEN VERY FEW BIRDS TIMED IN RACE TIME . I AGREE THE SLOW ONES MISSED THE SONIC BOOM AS IVE HEARD IT CALLED. WE GOT OUR BIRD ON THE 3RD DAY IN A RACE OF 371 MILES TOTAL DISASTER. MY HEN ARRIVED AS I WAS EATING MY BREAKFAST HENCE HEN NAME THE CORNFLAKES HEN. BANDIT
