  1. Thanks very much to Tommy R for collecting my bird for me, great to know that there are still genuine people out there. thanks again Stuart Maskame
  2. Is there anyone near Wickham, Newcastle-upon-Tyne. I have a pigeon reported there by a non-fancier, it also has an injured wing. If anyone near there could pick the bird up and hold onto it for me it would be greatly appreciated. Cheers Stuart Maskame

  9. Cheers Delboy and Alex,, over the moon to say the least,, this turned out a great race for our club (Peterhead & District) with our members taking 5 of the 8 section prizes and especially to George Taylor who took 1st section, 56th open. D & C McDougall, 4th and 6th section, Fred Fraser 5th section, great flying lads.
  10. Glad you enjoyed your day Alex. enjoyed your company and made Gold cup day a great day for me. The thrill of timing in from the Gold Cup is second to none and Maverick has given me this buzz 3 years on the trot and as of now is retired to stock to enjoy himself. Any pigeon fancier who is serious about racing his birds must strive to get involved in flying in the nationals as there is no better feeling in pigeon racing than seeing a bird fold it's wings from a national race, regardless of where you end up on the result. Disappointed that he didn't gain his silver award but will just have to move on and look forward to the next national, roll on Ypres. Well done to all who had the buzz of timing in from the gold cup and comiserations to those who didn't, hang in there your time will come
