  5. well its a start and to have the dam things of endangered species even better does that mean they can be controled by the gamekeepers again ? they did a great job before and the insecticides the famers used decimated the population or so they say. never seen so many when driving along motorways

  9. when treating for worms 1st read the leaflet that came with it if it says treat for two days then you treat for 2 days. The loft should then be scrubbed i recommend using jeyes fluid great stuff for sterilizing the loft. If your birds did not respond to the treatment there is no point in repeating it . I suggest that your birds are been sick because you dint follow the instructions on the medication.have you examined the birds throat? does it smell ? are the birds retaining corn ? are birds well ventilated ? are the dropping fell slimey ?many many questions but the best one is ring your vet collect dropping samples get microplasm done and dropping samples done before you damage your birds any further
  10. most wormers make the birds sick
  11. most wormers make the birds sick. So its advised there not fed for 24 hours before worming, smelly droppings does indicate canker. Treating blind will make your birds weak always consult a vet and have droppings tested and microbe levels tested via a swab. When adult birds are feeding there are under stress so droppings from them may be more watery than usual and stress can cause canker levels to rise , and when adult pigeons feed there young birds they may loose water from crop when regurgitating observation is key
  12. and alway the risk of been on the barbque
  13. you would of thought these criminal would use birds of prey at least they would be able to carry a larger weight
  14. can float eggs up to a 3 day difference, so too long a time between both sets to change, a hungry / thirsty bird will come off nest to feed but you can always feed the hen thats sitting on its own in its box with a galley pot , the hens health should be fine, the outcome will depend on how well the hen feeds the ybs so feeding her in her box will help
  15. ganster trak again?
