are they crosses ? the one at back looks like a modena cross tumbler or roller ,i could be wrong tho, its the cresent shape of the bird that suggests modena
could well be a kormourner cross , but when you cross them the hood tends to be half a hood at the top , i had one called it arthur as in half a hood , but crossing them with rollers puts the tumble back in but hard to correct the hood
heat brings on condition , the stress of a basket out weighs there benifit and the confined space causes diseases to spread along with respirity problems
old birds now are moulting feathers everywhere increase protein in there diet and plenty of vitamins and a little linseed, a good moult is when there are no breaks in the feathers , gaps are denoted from missing been fed or a shortage of feed to premote growth
if the birds blood is circulation good and bird is in good health there feet be warm , some with cold feet aint come into form but that could change as they rest in the basket
thought of a cunning way out tell him you sold it and cant find the new owners details so could he dispose of it as it had no owner , it could back fire but its up to you pay £5 pluss vat or £32 amtrak plus his fee for looking after it.
pay the £5 its better than £23.50 , if hes been paid to remove pests then a racing pigeon is not a pest , as hes already been paid to do the job why would you need to pay him again to complete the job?
think i would of rather had a page 3 model be our gm at least she'd have the same knowledge as the new apointed one and at least when i go to Blackers they be one bird that i'd like to handle lmao
well if it was a bereavment sale then the ownership via a ring list should of been obtained before the sale for the purpose of the sale , but as you bought them you must of liked them just contact owners im sure they'll let you keep them if you explain your story.
