    why

seen this news before very sad words cant describe how much this guy must be feeling
  7. have to agree i dont like non flying breeds at all , i would not have one probably frighten other birds half to death and cant be fair on the bird itself been bashed on a hard surface continuously
  8. well which non flying fanciers do you mean ? the ones that sell for profit ? or the ones that keep birds for fun ? or the ones that are producing winners for others as cant race due to the bird of prey problems ? many types on non flying fanciers
  9. Frank Sheader aint flown a feather in years but hes a good stockman and breeds good birds and at reasonable prices , it doesnt bother me one bit if birds come from a non flying loft or non flying stud they soon get sorted out in the basket , two champion pigeons can breed as much bad pigeons as two non champion pigeons and champions can be bred from two adverage birds , but as a general thing i think if you can get from a performing loft then you'l pay a little more with less failures , so can be cheaper in the long run
  10. at best he was not stating that there were either race or show birds but anyone who wants to keep there reputation would simply have a small sign stating exactly that otherwise he is misleading potential buyers with birds that wont be up to racing in the first place , this will do nothing but put off new fanciers when this is going on .End of
  11. if you tell me the strain i may be able to get you some details
  12. i suggest you read the whole thread Joe
  13. i think with the inflated prices and i cant see them coming down as they'll be enjoying the profit margins it will certainly see them through the credit crunch
  14. I think you mentioned this before but i added this name to my buddy list and hes never been online so it would suggest the account doesnt exists as hes never appeared on my buddylist ( as i am on aol ) , i have done a member search and this person has no profile but other than that i cant help
  15. and he can dna test all the birds on his pedigree ? after all a pedigree is only as honest as the man writing it , i bet the cross racers wont stand the basket test
  16. could be worth while getting a few club members together in your area and bulk buy corn and split the cost then works cheaper for all
  17. ill leave it with this if said person is selling crossed show racers then it should be clear what they are ill let others decide for themselves
  18. no mugged is to take by any means conning is taking money by deception / fraud
  19. no mention of conning in my post just what your reading in to it perhaps your perception is out , yup thats right im just plain old me and proud of it as for power i have no powers im no superman no x-ray vision think what you will , but i wont be climbing skyscrappers with my magic spider webs either ;D ;D ;D ;D
  20. i bought a bird not because of ring not because of strain recently because it handles realy well i werent even sure it had a pedigree , werent till other day kirky said what ring has it got on it and i said must be dutch , and werent so rings to me are only used to identify there owner they have no other purpose than that in my eyes beside most foreign strays usualy dont get reported and end up in folks stock lofts to breed more birds of a similar nature most probably raced here from the likes of Leir market
  21. getting rain and snow on and off now but roads are terrible
  22. i never condoned this guys actions in anyway , and i do hope he gets his money for his birds , most sellers get the buyers details in order to transfer pigeons in to the new owners name , perhaps a lesson learned that there are less scrupless people in this sport
  23. no mention of fraud on my part however you seem to only post to create situations on a whole
  24. All seems fine now
  25. good to have you on board theres a few from over the pond on site
