As far as am concerned the best transporter that has been used in previous season was the North West Federation Transporter. There are pros and cons for all transporters , personally i would rather see Scottish Feds benifiting from the SNFC for the use of the lorries.

We,re all intitled to an opinion.

The advert doesnt mention anything about the lorry , it says trailer for sale . As for running a transporter i no whats unvolved. Imo to have a transporter that size when the birdage for Channel races is no more than 2200 it would be Financial sucicide. But what would i no .

Would you not need to hire a tractor unit to pull it. Plating / Road Tax / insurance are these things all free.

Am sure there will be a big queue.

At last years EGM it was proposed that we stick to a programme for 3 years , and you no how that went. as for the ones that voted against this, they could,nt get to stafford unless they went on the bus.

Nothing is ever fair, do you think Ricky Young would have been as over the moon winning a semi national , I think not. The Problem with birdage at the longer races is mostly caused at races from a shorter distance. as for a significant convoy the quicker all feds get back down the west the better , the first time I convoyed the Amal at Salisbury there was a convoy of roughly 6000. The SNFC cant get that from the whole of Scotland these days.

When the Strathcylde Amal was formed if my memory is correct. There was a top table put in place President , secretary etc to arrange all races ,also there was an appointed race controller, where it fell down was to do with transport. I think it should just be for Inland Racing only and hopefully with good returns into the west would give us a better drag at the channel races .JMO Also I would like to see all the Feds on the west side flying back down the west.

The Strathcylde Amal was set up for this reason years ago , and imo was a great thing. But when one fed thinks its there way or no way , thats what put an end to it. There is no problem in setting this up again for , Lanarkshire , Midland , Ayrshire and Solway also South Lanarkshire and Glasgow could be involved.

Did,nt really bother with the old birds this season , so worked the youngsters this year , 8 young bird races , won 7 1st in club plus numerous other tickets . Topped Ayrshire Fed plus numerous positions and won one of the breeder buyer races in federation also, so well happy. Think( Hope )I have a good team for next season.

Ayrshire Federation will be at Sedgefeild racecourse this weekend . I will speak to the fed séc to see if Our transporter Could drop in and pick up the scottish doo,s

Its the same folk each week that moan about returns being bad imo

Personally its been a very good race i had 19 / 25 at 15.30 and would hope that they will all be back when i get in from work. I would like to say well done to the fed officals and race controller.

Ayrshire Federation will basket tonight for a race tomorrow, Imo it was forward thinking by the fed top table to insure we get a race this week . As the weather and wind looks very dodgy for sat and sunday. Hopefully we get a good race from hexham tomorrow.
