early morning mist beginning to burn off, john reckons another hour ?hour and a half should see it gone next message 08.30. birdage this week 1513 birds (up again on last year) plus 120 from our friends in the highlands

Basketing going ahead as normal,due to last week's excellent birdage figures and the addition of birds this week from highland fed and Moray firth flying club strictly 23 birds per crate,first message will be 07.30. In last week's liberation video it was noted that John our driver had to pull the flap down on two separate crates,can members please ensure there is no debris blocking the flaps in club crates and a blast of wd40 may help

they are on there way, into a light sw wind broke into two batches both clearing quickly,ATB to all competing

going at 09.00 , approx 1300 birds, high cloud, great visibility, some fog hanging on coast but should not affect the birds, will update at 09.15

weather at lib site improved greatly,good visibility and mist burning off nicely, pretty much the same en route going to give it an hour more so john has been asked to have them ready for a 09.00 lib, next message 08.50

weather only slightly better at race point but worst its been here so birds are held until sunday, forecast is for lighter cloud and good visibility so first message will be 08.00

weather shown absolutely no sign of improvement in the east side, will call driver at 12.30 and update soon after

weather right up the east coast is grim with thick fog/mist will give driver a call at 10am with update by 10.15
