Red lion is a son of 'Red Bull' 1st La Ferte Bernard 13,452 birds, 3rd Breteull 6,767 birds, 5th S.Ghislain 9,787 birds, 9th Bourges 10,221 birds' 16th Bourges 2,122 birds, 23rd Orleans 19,882 birds, when paired to a daughter of 'Red Run'who won 10 x 1st including 1st Strombeek 7,672 birds. Dam : Blue Chequer Hen NEHU 2002 HOU 4605 Jan Aarden The Dam of 4605 won twice from Bourges 565 miles and was paired back to her own sire to breed 4605. This cock has bred 5 x 1st from Bourges. 4605 is the Dam of Barkel Brothers 'Chenoise Hen' who won won twice from Chenoise 480 miles. This pair have already bred me a winner in 2009 and the hen bred a winner this year paired to a different cock. The thing that gets me is that is exactly their argument against eagle owls. There is evidence of one of these introduced eagles attacking a human but that does not seem to make the slightest difference to them. My understanding is that eagle owls are native to these shores and there is evidence to prove it, but the RSPB dont want to know as they are preditors for the raptors they are introducing.
